Fans React to 2023 Rock + Metal Grammy Nominations

It's Grammys time! Today was a busy day for many rock musicians, seeing the fruits of their labor turn into Grammy Award nominations on Tuesday morning (Nov. 15). And fans are now reacting to those nominations for the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in 2023.

Ozzy Osbourne, Turnstile, Wet Leg and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs were among the acts receiving multiple Grammy noms. Other 2022 standouts such as Ghost, Megadeth, Machine Gun Kelly and Arctic Monkeys received a nomination each in a rock, metal or alternative category for the 2023 Grammy Awards this February. And that's not all.

Pop star Olivia Rodrigo, who was 2022's Grammys Best New Artist, presented the 2023 rock and metal nominations during the live announcements on Tuesday. Below, see a sampling of the fan commentary on social media surrounding Grammy nomination day.

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards, to air live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, will be broadcast on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, at 8PM ET/5PM PT on CBS.
