Finnish, Polish, Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian officials intend to meet soon to discuss introduction of visa restrictions for Russians. This is reported by Bloomberg, citing sources.
It is noted that restrictions may be imposed on citizens of the Russian Federation who enter these countries by land.
As stated by Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis , the parties will strive in the coming weeks to find solutions that will significantly reduce the flow of Russian tourists.
Earlier, the EU countries could not agree on limiting the issuance of visas to Russians at the level of the entire European Union.
